Objectives To evaluate head–perineum distance (HPD) and angle of progression (AOP) as predictors of successful vaginal delivery in the active phase of first stage of labor in primigravida. Background Intrapartum ultrasonography has enabled further understanding of the complex physiology of childbirth.
