Introduction : Most instruments used for QOL evaluation are not developed specifically for SLE; hence, they present limited features when overall aspects of pediatric SLE and the responses to clinical changes are considered. Objective : To develop a quality of life questionnaire for adolescent with lupus (QoLMEAL). A disease-specific QOL questionnaire appropriate for evaluation of Thai adolescents diagnosed with SLE. Background : Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is characterized by progressive worsening of airway obstruction. The patients usually present with cough, breathlessness on and limited activities, which adversely affects their quality of life. Severity of COPD is traditionally classified by using spirometry. Objective : To validate the Thai version of the Urogenital Distress Inventory (UDI) and Incontinence Impact Questionnaire (IIQ) for Thai women. Materials and Methods : The UDI and IIQ have been translated into Thai. Test - retest reliability and internal consistency were tested. Two hundred and eighteen patients who visited the urogynecologic clinic at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital between March 2008 and April 2010 completed the Thai version of UDI and IIQ.
