Introduction: Gymnema sylvestre (GS) is a medicinal plant commonly used in complementary medicine to treat diabetes mellitus. This plant is proven scientifically to reduce blood glucose levels in the diabetic condition. However, till date, only little literature is published about the efficacy of GS prepared homoeopathically. Objective: In this study, we assessed the efficacy of homoeopathic preparation of GS (HPGS) in Q, 30C and 200C potencies in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats.
