The COVID-19 pandemic, declared by the WHO on May 2020, has forced governments around the world to adapt several restrictive measures causing difficulties of access to oral healthcare. Background: The spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has led to a major public health issue. This study aimed to assess the factors that influence the Lebanese people in undergoing an orthodontic treatment after the outbreak of COVID-19, as well as the factors that influence their choice of orthodontic appliance type. Methods: 489 Lebanese participants (199 men and 290 women) were invited to fill a questionnaire developed on Google Forms. Background: ABO blood groups may play a major role in the way COVID-19 spreads among same family members.

Objective: To determine the trends in the spread of COVID-19 in families according to their ABO blood groups. Explore the interrelationships between the main symptoms of COVID-19 infection.

Results: Two hundred forty-four subjects exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus participated in this study, 52 % males, age 29.64 ± 18.78 years. Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new strain of coronavirus that may cause illness in animals or humans. SARS-CoV-2 was first identified in late December 2019, in Wuhan, China. The coronavirus infected patients ‘who suffering from Immundeficient or chronic inflammation are at higher risk of getting a severe infection from COVID-19. The symptoms such as proinflammatory and hypercoagulable, non-cardiac pneumonia, multi-organ failure, and ARDS resulting in sudden death have been seen in those patients.
