Abstract: Background: Rosuvastatin can decrease low-density lipoprotein cholesterol to the optimal goals. Adverse effects of rosuvastatin involve kidneys. Multiple studies explained that these side effects are due to reducing coenzyme Q10 levels. Objective: to throw light upon the histological changes in the renal cortex of albino rats treated with rosuvastatin and explore the impact of CoQ10 co-treatment.
