Previous research has identified that transgender individuals have difficulty accessing qualified and educated healthcare from health professionals. Therefore, this dissertation research study aimed to explore the transgender healthcare experience through a phenomenological lens. Additionally, the purpose of the study was to provide a transgender narrative on healthcare interactions to increase visibility and awareness of transgender-identified issues in accessing care.
