Objectives: to assess the relationship between TSPAN15 and SLC44A2 polymorphisms and VTE in cancer patients was evaluated with correlation to PROTECHT scoring system and survival data. Background: Although venous thromboembolism (VTE) is common in cancer patients, the underlying mechanisms are complex and poorly understood. .Methods: This study enrolled two groups: 50 VTE-cancer patients in group I and 50 cancer patients with no VTE in group II. Full history, general examination, histopathological diagnosis, and clinical stage were recorded.
