Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of rapid prototyped upper complete denture on retention and patient satisfaction. Material and methods: Eight completely edentulous patients were selected for this study with ages ranged from 40-50 years. All patients had received two complete dentures one fabricated by conventional heat compressed method and the other fabricated by rapid prototyping technology. Patients were classified into two groups, four patients each. Group I received the conventional denture first then the rapid prototyped denture while, Group II received the rapid prototyped denture first then the conventional denture.
