Issues with lack of accessibility in sport for those with both physical and mental disabilities have been prevalent throughout Canada. In order to understand and address these concerns, we must first review the provincial and territorial sport structure as well as accessibility policy in each provincial/territorial sport organization across Canada.

Introduction: ACL rupture is an extremely common injury among athletes of various sports. There are multiple different grafts that can be used in ACL reconstruction surgery. Two forms of graft that are most often considered in the case of ACL reconstruction are the hamstring tendon (HT) autograft and patellar tendon (PT) autograft. Many orthopedic providers have conflicting views regarding which of the two is the ideal graft. There are varying findings comparing the HT and PT, with many parameters to consider when predicting overall outcome. PA levels in youth can help to predict PA levels in adults, improve cognitive function in youth, and is associated with improved health-quality of life, blood pressure, and even mental health in adults. Thus, it is imperative to understand the various factors associated with motivating and hindering PA levels in youth and how these factors can translate into the PA habits of their adult lifestyles.
