Background; the body mass index (BMI) is frequently used to classify the severity of obesity and to inform weight-gain guidelines throughout pregnancy. Aim and objectives; to evaluate the impact of BMI of nulliparous females on progress of labour, incidence of peri-partum complications (1ry outcome) and neonatal outcome of these women (secondary outcome).
