As the opioid epidemic continues to increase, new ways of getting overdose victims the drug naloxone have been implemented. Some of these measures include allowing nonmedical personnel the ability to administer the drug to someone experiencing an overdose. With these new laws being enacted, it is important to look at how the public feels about the increasing public access to naloxone. This article will review literature and research on the increase of training sessions on the administration of naloxone and public attitudes towards naloxone.
