The collegiate athletic recruitment process is the pathway for some student-athletes to continue to play sports in college. The purpose of the recruitment process to play college athletics is to establish academic success and create connections with the recruiting coaches and staff. A major benefit that college athletics can provide is scholarships to student-athletes so that they can continue their education.
