The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted health policy globally, leading to heightened concern and urgency. However, previous studies have been hampered by limited resources and insufficient discussions on the long-term implications for health policies following multiple COVID-19 waves. Thus, this study examined the evolution of international studies on post-COVID-19 health policy. Tooth hypersensitivity is a common clinical complaint after dental treatment.

Objective: This study presents a case report of the use of a diode laser for treating tooth hypersensitivity in a patient with a cantilever fixed partial denture abutment.

Case Report: A 23-year-old female patient presented to the Faculty of Dentistry, Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah, with the chief complaint of pain in a deeply carious maxillary right first premolar. Background: The rehabilitation program for disabled children is provided through community-based rehabilitation (CBR) services by an initiative of the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia.
