Academic and other public service institutions are increasingly being encouraged to migrate away from locked-in commercial repository services in favor of supporting open source. But what are the rewards and challenges of adopting an open source repository solution? Hyku is the turn-key, multi-tenant Samvera repository solution that offers a robust and ever-growing program of features for open data preservation and discovery.
