The purpose of this study is to examine the lived experience of collegiate athletes and their experience with a season ending injury. The individuals will have had an injury that has kept them from participating in their sport for the remainder of the season. Evidence shown gives the factors that impact recovery, supports for recovery, the model for response to sport injury, and coping mechanisms of the athletes impacted.
