We present the case of a 7-year-old male child with Goldenhar syndrome associated with an epibulbar choristoma. The patient presents a homogeneous tumor, rounded in shape, with well-defined borders, of a soft consistency, vascularized, approximately 9x10 mm, yellowish-white in color, adhered to the sclera and cornea, with hairy formations on its surface, located at the level of the sclerocorneal limbus of the temporal-lower quadrant of his right eye. Incidental Ectopic Pancreas In Gallbladder: A Case Report, Pedro L. Zamora Gonzales, Carmen E. Yagui Uku, José Somocurcio Peralta, Ronald A. Goicochea

Ectopic pancreas is an unusual finding, with an incidence below 0.5% of all reports worldwide. We report a 26 years old woman who went to emergency room with abdominal pain and underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The pathology report described pancreatic ectopic tissue in the wall of the gallbladder. This finding must be thoroughly evaluated because this tissue can suffer diseases like pancreatitis, cystic tumours and malign degeneration, and should be considerated in the context of gallbladder polips with digestive sintomatology.

Congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) is the most frequent renal tumor in newborns and infants. under 3 months. The clinical case of a patient younger than 3 months, with prenatal diagnosis, referred in a timely manner for evaluation and management by the Institution is presented. CMN is a low incidence tumor. Early diagnosis as well as complete excision of the tumor are predictors of good prognosis, as in the case of our patient.

The goal of this study was to assess comparative studies of individuals with non-advanced breast cancer who were treated with or without PMR. Methods. OBJECTIVE: To determine the factors associated with anxiety in medical interns at a private university in the context of the covid-19 pandemic. METHODS: The study design is quantitative, observational, analytical, retrospective, cross-sectional. The sample was comprised of 343 human medicine interns, who were selected by a non-probabilistic snowball type sampling. The Coronavirus Anxiety Scale instrument was used for the diagnosis of anxiety. A Poisson regression model with robust bivariate and multiple variances was used to calculate the prevalence ratio and their respective 95% confidence intervals. Introduction: In Peru, adolescents tend to use contraceptive methods (CM) less frequently, constituting a subgroup at risk of unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Methods: Quantitative, observational, analytical-cross-sectional study corresponding to a secondary analysis of data from women aged 15 to 19 from the ENDES 2018-2020. The mortality rate from COVID-19 in Peru continues to increase, considered by January 24, 2022, as the third country with the most cases and deaths in all of South America. Connement favors an extremely sedentary lifestyle, physical inactivity, and poor eating practices causing serious health risks. The main of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Couple Relationship Quality Scale (CRP-ASO) within the context of the lockdown due to COVID-19, in Peru. Introduction: Given the high consumption of salt in the population, the need arises to have a validated tool that measures the knowledge, attitudes and practices of salt consumption (CAP-salt). Objective: To validate the questionnaire on CAP-salt. Methods: Psychometric study of content validity through expert judgment. A total of 5 physicians from different specialties were counted. Introduction: Is a risk factor for morbidity, mortality and disability in older adults, so its management is a priority in geriatrics. The aim of this article is to characterize a population of older adults from two geriatric homes and to establish the prevalence of sarcopenia and the degree of dependence. Methods: Cross-sectional study developed in the city of Pereira-Colombia. A population of 72 adults from 65 to 98 years of age was included, using probability sampling. Introduction.Melanoma is a public health problem; it represents 4% of malignant skin tumors and is responsible for 80% of deaths from this type of neoplasm. Objective: Show the response to Temozolomide in patients with metastatic melanoma. Methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional study. The clinical response of patients with metastatic melanoma, managed with Temozolomide 200 mg/m2 once a day was analyzed for 5 days every 28 days. The risk factors analyzed were: histological variety, topographic region of the primary lesion, metastasis, ulceration, and Breslow. Objective: The study of the prevalence of Xenopsylla cheopis in rodents of the Rattus rattus species.The objective of the present investigation is to establish the prevalence of Xenopsylla cheopis in rodents of the Rattus rattus species. Methods: To obtain the sample, Tomahawk and Sherman traps were used that contained baits previously prepared with oatmeal and vanilla, the traps were placed in three areas: intra-home area, peridomyciliary area and in the open area. Objective:The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes towards the COVID-19 vaccine in the inhabitants of the province of Trujillo in the year 2021. Materials and methods:The type of study was applied, non experimental desing, with a quantitative approach, cross-sectional, and correlational level; a questionnaire for knowledge and attitudes was administered to a total of 500 adults in the province of Trujillo. Bone marrow transplantation, currently known as hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT), involves the infusion of stem cells healthy hematopoietic cells to patients with dysfunctional bone marrow, diminished or compromised by hematological neoplasms. Since its rst exploration in humans in the 1950s based on the results obtained in animal models, more than one million procedures have now been performed in Europe and collaborating countries. Early detection of complications and histocompatibility typing (HLA) with which potential donors can be better-selected thanks to an international donor registry network of bone marrow and the advancement of technology in terms of support treatment.
