Objectives: This qualitative study seeks to assess the impact of the federal Tobacco 21 (T21) law by analyzing data collected from a nationwide sample of key tobacco control stakeholders towards the implementation, enforcement, and outcomes of the T21 law. Methods: A series of five focus groups were conducted in December 2021 with stakeholders (n=31) who were asked about T21 implementation and enforcement measures used in their own communities. Participating stakeholders included tobacco policy experts, tobacco evaluation experts, subject matter experts, and implementation personnel. Background: Over the few decades, diabetes has become one of the most common chronic conditions in the U.S and worldwide. With the increasing number of incidences of diabetes and the cost associated with the treatment, adherence to treatment regimens is one key factor, which immensely affects the success of the diabetes treatment. The American Diabetes Association recommends annual preventive care for diabetes in terms of self-care practices such as daily blood glucose check and daily foot check. Background: Most breast cancers in Oman are diagnosed at advanced stages and therefore early detection is important. The Oman Cancer Association (OCA) initiated a mobile mammography program in 2009 but no studies have evaluated the impact of the program. This study aimed to estimate the proportion of OCA-screened women who had repeated mammography (compliance) and the associated predictors. The sensitivity and specificity of the program were also evaluated.
