In many states, cancer is the leading cause of death among children. The geographic interface between the need for hospice and the supply of pediatric hospice may be critical in whether children with cancer are able to access care. The purpose of our study was to describe the geographic distribution of pediatric hospice need and supply and to identify areas lacking pediatric hospice care in Tennessee over a 3 year time period.
