Objective: To examine the differences in multi-generational nurses' perceptions regarding their work environment. Background: Today's nursing workforce is comprised of individuals of many generations. Individuals of different generations share some values and beliefs, but they also vary in their perceptions regarding their work environments. It is a challenge for managers to create environments in which all staff members feel welcome and appreciated, a situation. which ultimately leads to decreased turnover, increased productivity, and a high quality of patient care.
