Aim: To quantify the radiographic presence and thickness of facial alveolar bone (FABr) adjacent to implants placed in the anterior maxillary region. Lack of FABr may suggest that graft procedures are desirable prior to implant placement. Material and Methods: With IRB approval, a retrospective analysis of cone beam computed tomographic cross-sectional images of sites with at least one implant in the anterior maxillary region was performed.
