Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a debilitating side effect of most chemotherapeutic agents used to treat cancer. To ensure the best possible care and outcomes for patients, nurses should be at the forefront of CIPN education and patient assessments. The purpose of this project was to evaluate an educational intervention for oncology nurses on CIPN and CIPN patient assessment by assessing the knowledge and confidence level of nurses in assessing CIPN before and after an educational session.
