Introduction: Assessing how well a hospital adheres to the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding is the key to outlining necessary modifications in mother breastfeeding support. This study aimed to assess Latinx mothers’ perception of how well a hospital adheres to the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding and its influence on exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) rates at hospital discharge.

Mothers who have experienced gender-based violence (GBV) face physical, mental, and social health implications. Participating in artmaking has the potential to reduce these consequences. An arts-based study including in-depth interviews was conducted with 13 mothers with histories of GBV. The creative processes involved in artmaking amongst mothers with histories of GBV were explored. Mothers demonstrated using symbols, thoughtful colour selection, and choice of artistic medium when creating their artforms. The experiences of mothers enrolled in Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program with virtual home visiting (VHV) during the pandemic remain mostly unknown. This study aimed to describe in detail the experience of home visitors and mothers with VHV during COVID-19 pandemic.
