Currently in the United States, motivated by nursing shortages, numerous ways have been created to recruit nurses in nursing schools. Accelerated nursing programs are increasing rapidly. Colleges and Schools of Nursing around the nation are accepting students seeking their first degree, as well as those with a second degree. This study compared perceptions of clinical performance of accelerated first-degree and accelerated second-degree bachelor of nursing graduates. The intention was to identify whether, after graduation, the two groups held different self-perceptions of performance in the clinical environment.
