Introduction: Healthcare associated infection (HAI) occurs worldwide and affects both developed and developing countries. Urinary tract infection is one of the common HAIs. These infections can result in sepsis, prolonged hospitalization, additional hospital costs and morbidity. ‘Little old lady’s hernia’ is another name for Obturator hernia, which is the rarest form of Pelvic Hernias’. A 78 year old thin woman was admitted with five days history of pain abdomen and abdominal distension. It was associated with constipation and post meal non-bilious vomiting. With the help of abdominal Computer tomography (CT), it was diagnosed as Obturator hernia. Exploratory laparotomy was done to reduce Hernia. Post-operative period was uneventful; she was thermodynamically stable and was discharged on the fifth post-operative day.

Introduction: Defining what clinical teaching skills and behaviours are effective in influencing student learning is a challenging task. Objective: To identify the nursing students’ perception of effective clinical teaching skills and teacher behaviours, and its influence on learning in the clinical setting. Method: A descriptive correlative design was used for the study. A convenient sample of 110 nursing students of the Ministry of Health (MOH) Nursing Institutes completed a five point Likert Scale. Introduction: Nurses play an important role in early detection of high-risk clients with acid-base imbalance in critical care units. Methods: Present study was conducted using Pre - Experimental one group Pre-test and Post-test design. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 30 staff nurses from different areas of critical care units.
