Background: The transition period of new graduate nurses necessitates major adjustments as they transition from an organized learning environment to a more independent and challenging work environment. Most of the transitional challenges and concerns remain unaddressed resulting in a difficult transition. The objective of this study was to determine content and face validity of a tool measuring medication errors among nursing students in baccalaureate nursing education. Data was collected from the Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery (AKUSoNaM), Karachi, from March to August 2014. The tool was developed utilizing literature and the expertise of the team members, expert in different areas. Monsoons of 2010; left devastated effects in Pakistan; it wiped away thousands of houses and damaged health infrastructure. The national and international communities rescued Internally Displaced People (IDP). Alongside the other health professionals' Public health nurses (PHN) were instrumental in assisting IDPs. This is a case study of a 30 year old postnatal woman; who sustained an injury on her right breast and developed an abscess in IDP camp.
