Developing substance use disorder is considered one of the most serious occupational risk factors for anesthesia providers. The purpose of this project was to identify the prevalence and risk factors of substance use disorder within the anesthesia community and to signify the importance of early education and awareness to help prevent the development of substance use disorder through early education, identification, and awareness.
