This feasibility study investigates a health and wellness intervention program based on the 7 Dimensions of Wellness framework, emphasizing evidence-based methods, accessibility, and participant independence. The research combines insights from a comprehensive literature review, which explores resources essential for designing, implementing, and executing health literacy based interventions targeting three dimensions of wellness. The study outlines methods for participant selection, program delivery, and data collection, synthesizing existing research and scholarly works to provide insights into effective strategies, educational tools, and interdisciplinary approaches. The evidence-based, contextually relevant, disease-specific health education materials aim to provide strategies for improvement in health literacy, disease management comprehension, and medication adherence. The health education materials address difficulties many adults experience in understanding health information. The health education system must remain a contextually relevant, patient-specific reference for standardizing disease-specific education according to the patient's mental capability (Fereidouni et al., 2019). Previous research indicated that the COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacted employee psychological outcomes in various workforce sectors. Although research showed that U.S. human resource (HR) employees experienced unique occupational challenges during the pandemic, the literature did not explore pandemic-related psychological outcomes in this population. This quantitative survey-based study included a purposive sample of 294 U.S. HR professionals to explore the pandemic’s impact on their psychological well-being. The transactional model of stress and coping served as the theoretical framework to understand the independent effects of appraisal, meaning-based coping, and coping efforts on psychological well-being. The Head Start program in Monterey County serves more than 1,245 children each year with the majority of them being Latino/Hispanic.
