Objective: This study aims to investigate the effect of Anastatica Hierochuntica L. on the duration of labour in primiparous women.
Methods: A prospective, case-controlled study with an intervention (n=28) and control (n=29) group. Participants were not randomized; their preferences related to the use of the A. Hierochuntica L. determined the group in which they would be included. In the intervention group, Anastatica Hierochuntica L. was used by all women. Standard care continued for both the intervention and control group. The duration of the first and second stage of labour were evaluated and compared between groups.

Evidence for cardiovascular outcomes with older-generation antihyperglycemic drugs in the management of type 2 diabetes is based on aggregated data from prior randomized controlled trials and observational studies that were not focused on prespecified cardiovascular end points. Newer antihyperglycemic medications have undergone a rigorous evaluation of cardiovascular outcomes through randomized controlled trials since the US Food and Drug Administration imposed a mandatory requirement for all glucose-lowering drugs in 2008. Mainstream cancer genetic testing (MCG) was introduced for breast cancer patients in our unit in 2013. A 29-year-old male presented to Aga Khan University Hospital with complaints of fever, body-aches, vomiting and one episode of gum bleeding. A Dengue antigen test done prior to presentation was positive. He was admitted for medical management. During hospital stay, the patient developed manic symptoms including over-talkativeness, expansive mood, disinhibited behavior, excessive planning, paranoia and aggression. Among the most prevalent and least addressed symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection are myalgia, muscle weakness, and body aches. Only a few studies have reported polymyositis in patients with Covid-19 infection. At least one-third of patients with Covid-19 syndrome had elevated CPK levels. The cause of elevated CPK can be a cytokine storm or viral infection of the muscles. We present a case in which our patient developed features of myositis following the resolution of an acute viral prodrome caused by SARS-CoV-2. Background: Most genital fistulas result from prolonged, obstructed labor or surgical complications. Other causes include trauma (from accidents, traditional healers, or sexual violence), radiation, carcinoma, infection, unsafe abortion, and congenital malformation.

Methods: This retrospective records review focuses on rare fistula causes among 6,787 women who developed fistula after 1980 and sought treatment between 1994 and 2017 in Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Somalia, and South Sudan. Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the knowledge, attitude, and practices (KAP) of the pregnant population during the COVID-19 pandemic in a tertiary care hospital.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan. KAP towards COVID-19 was assessed using 21-item questionnaires.
