Treatment of varicose veins by the injection method has resulted in diminution of prolonged suffering by many patients. The ideal solution is one that ill cause no sloughing of the tissues immediately surrounding the vein; nontoxic in the amounts used; effective; not too painful and not capable of reducing drug hypersensitivity. drugs have been tried with varying efficacy.
