AbstractSome organizational leaders of home healthcare agencies (HHA) experience financial pressures to sustain within the changing regulatory landscape. Organization healthcare leaders who develop sustainability strategies remain competitive and employ the community. Grounded in the balanced scorecard framework, the purpose of this descriptive, qualitative multiple case study was to identify strategies home healthcare agency (HHA) leaders used to maintain sustainability. The participants were five organizational leaders of three HHA and two home health industry consultants in the Northeast United States who implemented sustainability.
