Background; Graves’ disease (GD) is an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid gland in which thyrotropin receptor antibodies (TRAb) stimulate thyroid stimulating hormone receptors (TSH-R), thereby increasing thyroid hormone production and release , Aim and objectives: The aim of this work was to evaluate the outcome of total thyroidectomy in the treatment of Graves' disease. Patient and methods; Fifty patients have goitre was prospectively studied.
