An Analysis Of International Agreements Over Cybersecurity, Lucas Ashbaugh
Electronic Theses and Dissertations
Research into the international agreements that increase cooperation over cybersecurity challenges is severely lacking. This is a necessary next step for bridging diplomatic challenges over cybersecurity. This work aspires to be push the bounds of research into these agreements and offer a tool that future researchers can rely on. For this research I created, and made publicly available, the International Cybersecurity Cooperation Dataset (ICCD), which contains over 350 international cybersecurity agreements and pertinent metadata. Each agreement is marked per which subtopics within cybersecurity related agreements it covers. These typologies are:

Changing The First Lady’S Mystique: Defining The First Lady’S Legal Role And Upending Gender Norms, Ashlee A. Paxton-Turner
University of Massachusetts Law Review
This Article explores the lack of formal guidelines governing the First Lady by first considering the history of the role and how the three branches of government have typically dealt with the role. Attention is also given to the possible intersection with the anti-nepotism statute when and if the First Lady acts as an advisor to the President. This Article then goes on to suggest that this lack of formality has allowed gender norms to govern the role. In an era where women’s rights have resurfaced as a central theme in political discourse, this Article concludes by suggesting some possible …
Rethinking Removal And "Relates To": International Arbitration Disputes And The N.Y. Convention, Holly Wilson
Rethinking Removal And "Relates To": International Arbitration Disputes And The N.Y. Convention, Holly Wilson
University of Richmond Law Review
Part I explores the historical roots of the Convention,
discusses the evolution of its removal provisions, and explains how
it functions in the district courts today. Part II addresses the arguments
in favor of reverting to the Ruhrgas standard. This article
demonstrates that the current judicial interpretation of the Convention's
removal provisions under Beiser is too broad and that the
stricter construction under Ruhrgas should be re-adopted. Part II
examines three key reasons why the current Beiser standard is unworkable:
the current standard (1) leads to absurd results, (2) disrespects
notions of federalism and strains comity, and (3) in conjunction …

Temporary Restraining Orders To Enforce Intellectual Property Rights At Trade Shows: An Empirical Study, Marketa Trimble
Scholarly Works
Infringements of intellectual property (IP) rights by exhibitors at trade shows (also called trade fairs or exhibitions), such as infringements committed through exhibitions of or offers to sell infringing products, can be extremely damaging to IP right owners because of the wide exposure that trade shows provide for infringing IP; the promotion of the infringing IP and the contacts made by infringers at trade shows can facilitate further infringements after a trade show that can be very difficult for IP right owners to prevent. IP right owners therefore seek to obtain emergency injunctive relief to stop trade show infringements immediately—if …
