Rawls's Lexical Orderings Are Good Economics, Robert Cooter May 1989

Rawls's Lexical Orderings Are Good Economics, Robert Cooter

Robert Cooter

Basic liberty, according to Rawls's first principle of justice, is not to be sacrificed for other values such as wealth. And, according to his second principle of justice, the material well-being of the worst-off members of society is not to be sacrificed to benefit better-off members of society. These trade-offs would be unjust, according to Rawls, no matter how small the sacrifice or how large the offsetting benefit. The Admissibility Of Evidence Protected By Noerr-Pennington, Michael E Lewyn Mar 1989

The Admissibility Of Evidence Protected By Noerr-Pennington, Michael E Lewyn

Michael E Lewyn

Although poliitical activity is protected from antitrust liability under the Noerr-Pennington doctrine, evidence of such activity is at times admissible to prove other antitrust violations. Such evidence, if admissible, could be used to prove anticompetitive intent, or as a 'plus factor' to prove conspiracy where the only other evidence of conspiracy is parallel conduct. However, such evidence is most likely to be admitted where it is superfluous.

Quantum Number Definition Problems, Milan Meszaros

Milan Meszaros physicist

This study discusses scatterings and stationary states of nonrelativistic quantum theory. Among other statements, the author shows that if V(r) is a "polinomial" n-dimensional spherically symmetric potential then the radial wave function pszi(r) has an infinite number of zeros in the interval 0

Big Bang Inflationary Faults, Milan Meszaros

Milan Meszaros physicist

In this paper it is shown that the suppositions of p=u/3 and RT=const at the same time imply contradiction in Standard Cosmology and Inflationary Models. Because of this the origin of 3K black-body radiation will take new explaining.
