This lecture was delivered on May 1, 1982 on the North Campus Quadrangle in front of the law school and library at 11 am. According to the transcript and recording, in addition to Former President Jimmy Carter speaking, then dean of the law school Dean Bearid also spoke and introduced Carter, along with questioners including David Buttorff, Ronald Cobb, Kim Alexander, and Mrs. Alford.Charles J. Driebe (student bar association president) also spoke.
