For many years, developed nations have been facing serious challenges with respect to demographic shifts. This has led to shape migration policy by hiring foreign workers or inviting business services from developing nations, which are characterized by a large work force. This paper examines the relationship between trade liberalization and migration policy by comparing Canada and Germany. The thesis of this paper is that bilateral trade agreements between Canada, Germany and other developing nations create more favorable migration policy for non-residents seeking employment in these two developed nations.
