The thought that a Canadian, who has difficulty mastering the Federal Divorce Law together with that of 13 Provincial or Territorial bodies of family law might benefit from reading a large American casebook with national coverage requires explanation. In fact the problems of family law seem to run along defined channels of human behaviour which transcend national boundaries.
