ABSTRACT
The film Revitalizing the Lawyer-Poet: What Lawyers Can Learn From Rock and Roll presents a picture of the legal profession in crisis. America is dissatisfied with its lawyers, and its lawyers are dissatisfied with themselves. The film places blame for this crisis on the failure of the ideology of professionalism, which has governed regulation of lawyers for more than a century. The film advocates scrapping legal professionalism in favor of a laissez faire or business approach to lawyer regulation.
