A zombie is currently defined as “an animated corpse that feeds on living human flesh.” The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contend that zombies are typically “created by an infectious virus, which is passed on via bites and contact with bodily fluids.” The vehicle for the spread of infection will depend on the nature of the virus that causes the zombie outbreak.
