This bibliometric analysis focuses on the study of research publications that discuss how rape is a monstrous and inhumane act even if it is committed by the husband on his lawfully wedded wife. In this study, the authors aim to determine the frequency of such publications with an intention to establish that the problem of marital rape in contemporary society is receiving substantial attention from the researchers, therefore, the research on this subject is increasing.
