Michigan Law Review
A half-century ago when this Law Quadrangle was conceived and constructed, it was surely an act of faith on the part of its wise and generous donor. So it was also of this University which undertook the challenge to make of his vision a reality - to provide, in the most magnificent plant for legal education this country has ever seen, instruction in the law and constant refinement of its ideals worthy of the most rigorous traditions of the higher learning.

The subject of this interim hearing of the Assembly Judiciary Committee is unaccredited law schools. The hearing will focus on AB 304, authored by Assemblyman Walter Ingalls.
In California there are four methods of studying law which satisfy one of the requirements for admission to practice law. AB 304 would limit the methods of preparing for admission to the practice of law to either graduation from and accredited law school or study in an unaccredited law school which has been certified by the State Bar Committee of Bar Examiners as meeting specified standards and requirements.

The highlight of the 1980-81 academic year at the University of Georgia School of Law was the opening of the new Law Library Annex. The building was dedicated May 2, 1981 in ceremonies marking the Law Day observance. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun was the dedication speaker.
The new annex contains 25,000 square feet divided among three floors of library, office and instructional space. With this new addition the law school physical plan now totals 138,000 square feet. The annex includes 20 offices for the editorial staffs of the Georgia Law Review and the Journal of International and Comparative …

With great pleasure and pride we introduce in this directory the 1982 graduating class of the University of Georgia School of Law. This senior class, 232 students selected from 1,505 applicants, entered the Georgia Law School in the fall of 1979 with a mean undergraduate grade point average of 3.50 and an average Law School Admission Test score of 648.
