The article presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies on the creation of primary sprayers for sprayers. The flow diagrams of the atomizers that were produced on the territory of the former Soviet Union are given. The article presents the data of scientists who conducted theoretical and experimental research on centrifugal fans, they refined the calculations, improved technical characteristics and aerodynamic designs of centrifugal fans. Aerodynamic and technological schemes of centrifugal fans installed to the sprayer have been developed. The theoretical and experimental studies conducted by scientists are described: Nevelson MI, Cherkassky VM, Kalinushkin MP, Ivanov O. P., Turbin B. G., on the basis of which the authors developed a method for calculating the main parameters of the working bodies centrifugal fan.
