This paper reported a scientific approach adopting microwave-assisted synthesis as a synthetic route for preparing highly active palladium nanoparticles stabilized by polyvinylpyrrolidone (Pd/PVP) and supported on reduced Gra-phene oxide (rGO) as a highly active catalyst used for Suzuki, Heck, and Sonogashira cross coupling reactions with remarkable turnover number (6500) and turnover frequency of 78000 h-1. The physical and chemical properties of the adsorbent were evaluated systematically using the different techniques including Microsoft Excel programming, linear regression model and also the coefficient of determination. Herein, versatile, and reproducible method to prepare Pd/Fe3O4 via hydrothermal synthesis. The vital role of this catalyst is in its potential use in CO oxidation catalysis. The Pd/Fe3O4 shows a distinctive activity. TEM images confirmed that Pd nanoparticles of 8-12 nm have a well dispersion on the surface of magnetite (Fe3O4). Moreover, the prepared catalyst is recycled with remarkable catalytic activity. This outstanding activity is mainly a direct result of the strong metal-support interaction. The defect sites in the reduced iron oxide act as nucleation centers that enable anchoring of Pd nanoparticles leading to prevention of agglomeration.

Herein, we report a rapid one-step synthetic method using microwave irradiation for growing magnetite nanocrystals on reduced graphene oxide sheets. This developed strategy allows decorating graphene sheets with magnetite nanocrystals of well-defined morphology as cubes using microwave-driven reduction of iron chloride using hydrazine hydrate as a reducing agent. The size and shape control was achieved via fine-tuning of the reaction conditions. A simple green method for the synthesis of highly active palladium nanoparticles embedded on copper oxide as an efficient catalyst for ligand–free Heck cross–coupling reactions is developed. The approach is based on simultaneous chemical reduction of an aqueous solution of palladium and copper salts in microwave using hydrazine hydrate as the reducing agent. Preparation of dinitro pentamethylene tetramine (DPT) through the action of nitrating mixture formed of ammonium nitrate and fuming nitric acid on hexamine in presence of acetic acid, acetic anhydride and p-formaldehyde has been carried out. DPT was also prepared from hexamine dinitrate which is an important intermediate appears through preparation of DPT from hexamine directly. In this research, a facile and reproducible approach was implemented for synthesis of palladium nano particles supported on Fe3O4 with remarkable activity as an ideal catalyst for Suzuki Cross – Coupling. Magnetite supported Pd nano particles reveals a high activity towards Suzuki coupling reactions as it could be recycled up to seven times with the same high catalytic activity. The advantage of using microwave irradiation as a synthetic tool is due to its unique features as a one step, simple, versatile, and rapid process. A proper description of the physical properties of the petroleum fractions in hydrocarbon mixtures is 12 essential in performing reliable phase behavior calculations and compositional modeling studies. This 13 paper presents a comparison study among five different correlations used to calculate the acentric 14 factor of undefined petroleum fractions. A new correlation was developed for calculating the acentric 15 factor of undefined petroleum fractions, a function of no carbon atoms with an average error of 0.099 16 and a correlation coefficient of 0.998.

Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) are clean energy sources that have many applications due to the high energy density of methanol as a fuel. However, this type of fuel cells (FCs) has limitations that are preventing it from being commercialized. One such limitation is the adsorption of intermediates such as CO into the surface of the Platinum (Pt) catalyst during methanol oxidation (MO) which deactivates its active sites, where the reaction is taking place, and leads to poisoning of the electrode over the long term.
