The Dark at the Top of the Stairs is the story of Cora Flood, the wife of a traveling salesman. Learning that her husband might have an affair with another woman, she plans to leave the marriage. When her husband returns, having lost his job, Cora must decide how to respond.

A Suggested Initial Administrative Structure For A Contemplated Community College In Walla Walla, George W. Pennell
Graduate Student Research Papers
Responsible local educational and community leaders determined in 1961 that all legal criteria for the establishment of a community college in Walla Walla [Washington] had been met. They subsequently have been faced with many phases of preplanning activity. Among the problems requiring solution have been: the acquisition of adequate physical facilities, the determination of an operational financial plan, the establishment of accurate and efficient enrollment procedures, and the organization of an instructional and administrative staff.
