The Effect Of The Ethnic Identification Of Teachers With Principals On The Teachers' Perceptions Of The Principals' Leadership Behavior, Elena P. Zayas-Bazan
Electronic Theses and Dissertations
The problem of this study was to determine whether the ethnic identification of teachers with their school principals affected the teachers' perception of the principals' leadership behavior. This study followed the ex-post-facto design of a co-relational study. Twelve dimensions of the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire, Form 12 (LBDQ-XII) were selected to assess the perception of teachers belonging to three different ethnic groups of the leadership behavior of principals belonging to the three ethnic groups. The statistical analysis of the data for hypotheses 1 through 7 was intended to determine significant differences in the ratings by white, black, and Spanish language …

This system with its open door policy has been very successful in the United States and has extended higher education opportunities to the public from …

A Study Of Opinions Related To Corporal Punishment: 1980, Susan J. Walz
Masters Theses
A traditional method of correcting errant behavior of young children has been the use of corporal punishment in the home and 'in loco parentis' in our public schools. In an attempt to assess current opinion regarding corporal punishment in the schools, a twenty-two-item questionnaire, based on contemporary child development theory, was developed. Responses of two hundred eighty-one teachers and student teachers were studied for the purpose of finding differences in various …
