The experiences of Black boys and men in education have sustained increased attention from various communities and throughout education. This increased attention is birthed from systemic issues that have remained pervasive throughout society. As a direct call to action of these issues, Black Minds Matter introduces us to pivotal and thought-provoking ways in which educators can best support and care for this population. This review expounds upon ways in which education might reimagine how we advocate and care for Black boys and men in the classroom.
