The purpose of this dissertation was to compare the housing adjustment propensities of Korean, Mexican, and American households. The theoretical framework was the Morris and Winter model of housing adjustment. Every household in every culture was assumed to perform a sequence of housing adjustment behaviors to attain desired housing. The purposes had been accomplished through an analysis of three data sets from different sources. Path analysis was employed for testing the empirical model, and the same procedures were performed individually with the three sets of data.
