This applied dissertation evaluated a new method that provided a systematic way of training and evaluating supervisors in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Using a single-case multiple- baseline across supervisors and supervisees research design, this study assessed the use of a modified behavioral skills protocol (BST) in the training of master’s and doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs/BCBA-Ds) in the supervision of DTT. Additionally, this study evaluated supervisee’s performances before and during the implementation of the modified BST protocol. The Introduction to Equine Assisted Family Therapy course offered at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) provides Master’s and Doctoral level student therapists the opportunity to learn how to conduct an equine session and how to utilize horses as part of the therapeutic process. Students learn about the underlying theories and framework behind the equine activities and methodology, as well as participate in the equine activities themselves. Due to a lack of management knowledge and experience, center directors encounter many problems that they are not prepared to handle. The problems increase stress that contribute to director burnout. The lack of business knowledge coupled with increased stress, hinder directors’ efforts to provide a quality early childhood program. The author designed and implemented an in-service training program which presented basic management skill information necessary to the success of directors as managers of personnel. The author examined the effectiveness of the Leadership Experience Program (LEO), a new and innovative program designed to prepare assistant principals to become effective principles. Participants were able to respond to questions related to the three main components: Administrative Skills, Instructional Leadership Skills, and Interpersonal Relations Skills, the results showed that LEO was a successful means of training administrative. Recommendations included involving teachers, parents and cooperating principles in future evaluations of the summer program.
