Aim: to develop mechanisms for organizing the pedagogical process on the basis of differentiated modular technologies to improve physical fitness and development of students in higher educational institutions that do not specialize in physical education.

Methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, and questionnaires were used in the study.

Results: The implementation of proposed modern, innovative methods is an important part of organizing the process of physical education in educational institutions.
