The Boise State University Reintegration Committee (“Committee”) is charged by President Marlene Tromp with recommending and advising when and under what conditions the university can reintegrate, or resume, in whole or part, in-person operations.
The Committee is chaired by Chief of Staff & Vice President for Compliance, Legal and Audit, Alicia Estey, JD, MPH, and has eleven additional members. In response to the impact that COVID19 had on our students' summer plans, Boise State created the Hometown Challenge, which provided our students with an opportunity to invest in themselves over the summer and earn a $1000 scholarship for the fall. This report examines the pandemic’s impact on students, from their basic needs security to their well-being, as indicated by employment status, academic engagement, and mental health.
