This research presents an overview of the Proactive Behavior. It focuses on both the concept of proactivity and discusses the motivational features as a positive behavioral method that could lead to improving individuals’, and organizations’ performance and efficiency, making it an attractive method to adapt. Then, it presents a supportive comparison of proactivity’s forms, a revision and re-structuring of its main phases, results, and a discussion of the determinants that hinder proactive behavior.
